The VI St. Petersburg International Legal Forum was held last week in St. Petersburg, from 18^th till 21 of May. Artem Sirota participated in a number of events within the framework of the forum, was actively involved in discussions and debates on modern problems of private law and shared his positive international experience in resolving pressing legal issues amid evolving global trends.

The St. Petersburg International Legal Forum is annual international legal conference established in 2011 on the initiative of the Ministry of Justice and supported by the President of the Russian Federation focused on topical legal issues addressing socio-economic development processes at the global.

On May 19, 2016 within the framework of the VI St. Petersburg International Legal Forum the Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation A.V. Konovalov named the winners of grants for the best essays related to private law. And we are glad to announce that among others the grant was awarded to the first year master student of the Private Law Research Centre under the President of the Russian Federation named after S.S.Alexeev and associate at Sirota & Partners Ekaterina Ivanova for her essay on good faith application at stake.

Personal single time grant is awarded to authors of the best essays in the field of private law, including liability, corporate, contract, international private law, or on the subject of legal integration in Euroasia, including comparison of legal systems, suggestions on harmonization of national legislations of the EEU member states, effective international cooperation.
